susandennisSo, I still don't know why we are stretching this closing thing out. Buyer has had the money for two weeks. BUT... I did find out that sometime next week, a notary will come here with all the shit I need to sign. AND with a form for me to tell them what to do with the $$. Turns out I can have them wire it directly to my investments guys and because it's wired and not ACH'd, there's no waiting for the 'check to clear' week.
I've got all the details on how to do that and am relieved cause it means I don't have to sweat the small stuff like moving all that money around.
Interestingly, I used and AI search to find out how Washington state handles no mortgage real estate transfers. One search and I got all kinds of very on point info.
A week ago, I cleared ads and AI out of my default search engine. (Here's an explanation and how to. I've really enjoyed the cleaner version and when I need AI, I go get it. This time, I just went right to Gemini. I've also found that depending on your needs, Amazon's Rufus can be quite handy.
The appliance guy tracker is now showing ETA of 2:45. If he scooches out much further I will be able to make the class.
